Daisy chain Lynx Express

In case I want to cat5 hard wire my LE units I need clarification on the terminator.  I think it's only on the last unit.  Is this documented in the wiki and I just can't find it?

Thanks Jeff

The last one in the chain gets terminated.

If you use the "DMX OUT 2" to split the dmx line, would you terminate both end units?

That's a good question.  I finally ended up putting all my LE units within 2' of each other to run 8 pipes of a bellagio fountain.  I used "DMX In" and "DMX Out 1".  Removed the terminator on all but the last one.  So far this works like a charm and it's rock solid.  Let's hope it continues and I did it correctly.

The splitter is a nice feature so I'm interested in the answer to your question.

Each DMX line needs a termination at the end to block echo or noise back thought the dmx line which could cause errors.

So both DMX outputs from the LE would need the last controller in that line to be jumper set to terminate.
