vixen channel order
« on: November 12, 2010, »
I am having issues changing the channel outputs in Vixen under a profile and sequences that are completed. I was able to change the order in my profile but it is not changing the channel order in my sequences. If I click on the order at the top of my sequence it changes them on the left side but when I play the sequence it reverts back to the original order, I am running Vixen 2.5.8

I have never used 2.5, but in 2.1 you click on Profiles/Manage and then double click on your profile, click on Output plugins, lick on adjustable preview, click on Plugin setup and in the bottom left corner, uncheck Respect channel outputs during playback.
Hope that helps.

I wonder if 2.5 is different than 2.1? I have changed my channel outputs many times and it has always worked for me.
Do you have more than 1 profile?
Did you assign the profile to the sequence?
I wish I could be more help.

I'm pretty sure this is a known bug in 2.5 that channel order changes are not preserved in your profile.

I have tried to downgrade to 2.1.0.1 but for some reason I cannot open my sequences when I do, I used the downgrade utility to do it and nothing.
