So, on Christmas Eve, the El wire on the skyline stopped working.  I guess the inverter went bad, but it has been cold and I haven't had much motivation to mess with it anymore.  It is very frustrating to work with - and I am sure that I will get it working again during the year and try it again next year, but el wire is just too much trouble.  The stuff isn't even that bright...it has to be full on dark outside to even see it, testing during the day is impossible while it is outside.  On the positive side, it did hold up for about 30 days.  And, it does look really cool when it works.
