LE as a repeater
« on: December 11, 2010, »
Can LEv5s be used as repeaters? For example could I send from LE#1  to LE#2 Uisng TX and RX dongles using channel 0 and then send from LE#2 to LE#3 using dongles set for channel 1 and then from Le#3 to LE#4 using dongles set for channel 2?

If I understand then yes.

You can hook a TX unit to the output of a Express and then a RX to the input of another Express. and have these two on a different channel (uni #) than the wireless feeding the first Express. I recommend uni #1 for the main and Uni #3 for the repeated leg as it is far away from uni #1

We did this for our neighborhood.  First TX is on Uni 1 and TX's to 3 houses, I rebroadcast the last leg out from a DMX out 2 to Uni  to the last house.
