Is anyone withing reasonable distance of Bridgewater, NJ or Easton, PA interested in taking Rick up on his offer?  It looks like we can get the cases for ~$10 a piece after shipping from his supplier which is a savings of $4-5 from DFCountryman.  I am looking for 8 which means I need to get rid of at least another 10 8 to make this work.  I am willing to do the leg work and just take cash when you pick them up.  PM Me if interested.

I just ordered some CG-1500s from Tessco using Rick's (Pokey's) account rep for 9.23 per unit.

The rep asked if I would inform the DLAers about a couple of things.

1.  The cases are special order for them, and as a result lead time on the cases is about 3-4 weeks.  Basically, last minute ordering is not going to work.

2.  The cases can only be ordered in batches of 6 (minimum 18), ie 18, 24, 30 etc.

my view...

In my case, I needed 21 cases, but had to order 24.  I will have a few extra cases, not a deal breaker.
I'm in TN, so I got charged 9.25% TN sales tax, not unexpected since I had to pay tax with YBBS as well.
Shipping for 24 units from CT to TN is reasonable at $19.11

Per unit cost shipped to me was just under $11.

update
Just noticed that the shipping is apparently taxed as well...

memphislights,

Glad it worked out for you!  I think my friends at Tessco have the best prices around -- they are a distributor who sell to places like DFCountryman, so it makes sense their prices are lower.

Again, if anyone is interested, per the parameters outlined above (minimum order of 18, in batches of 6), send me a PM and I'll forward details on how to make it happen.

I just happened to stumble across this vendor for the 1500 enclosures.  The only down side was having to order 10 of them but I had a need for 6 so 4 spares isn't a big deal.  They were $9.50 each, and I was too lazy to call into DF Countryman as I just wanted to ease of ordering them at 1:00 AM as I just did.

I ordered TA-200s from this site.  You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login  They want $3.43 per TA-200 plus shipping.  It is run by a DIYC member.

I contacted excess-supply.com and asked about that and they replied that that was an error.  They've updated the website for the TA-200 cases to have a minimum order of 25.  Just placed my order online a few minutes ago.

I got my enclosures today and they do a great job with packaging, now I have a surplus of the 1500, if I decide I am at a good capacity I may part with some of them.  Although they are up for a coop purchase if we were to organize one.

Got my cases from Tessco on Thursday.  It's nice that they came in a couple of weeks earlier than expected.  Of course YMMV.
