GETTING STARTED WITH LIGHT SHOW PRO
« on: December 29, 2010, »
Happy New Year to Everyone
OK. to business, hope you all had great shows this year?
I've just downloaded light show pro latest version.Hell of a learning curve !
so my question.
I tried to simulate a chase sequence, since I don't have any hardware yet.
"naff"!  it's not a true chase effect, simply on/off from channel to channel.
is this a limitation of the simulator? Will it chase in the real world? or is light shop pro limited?
I'm looking for a chase sequence to run around individual circuit boards, before proceeding to the next board in line.
I am now getting to grips with the interface though, so it's not all bad news lol
any tips from the pro's?
thanks :)

Not sure what you mean by "Not a true chase effect". The chase tool does do simple on/off effects but you can generate a chase with any effect by using the clipboard chase. Simply copy the effect(s) from the grid to the clipboard, the hold down shift key while dragging the cursor up or down. Lots of videos in the tutorial section of the home page on the LSP forum and lots of tutorial videos in a sticky in the tips and tricks section on the LSP forum.

Be sure to join the form as there is lots of help there from other users. Feel free  to ask any questions, send a PM, or e-mail and I will be happy to try to answer them.

Hope that helps.
