rgb flood lights

i was wondering if the Lynx Smart String Controller and the Lynx Smart String Hub could be used for rgb flood lights insted of a light string?

IF you just want a RGB floodlight, there are better solutions.

- Aether (there will probably be a coop sometime in the next few months)

For these you will have to make your own array of RGB LEDS, but both solutions will provide constant current 12 volt dimming for the LEDs.
- there exists a commercial product that is a 3 channel DMX to LED controller - if you do a search on this site you should be able to find them
- the MR16 is a 16 channel DMX to DC controller - just use 3 channels for your RGB - one MR16 could control 5 RGB spotlights this way with one channel left over...

I think all we depend of the used IC/CHIP in the strings.
In theory all can be done...
Just request to develop something compliant using the  same chips as in the strings.

Now as the used chip is confident for moment, difficult to answer...

Some we do not have yet the information of the embedded chip,  but for some reason seems to be a temporally secret.

What i know, if i'm not wrong : 3 wires between pixels...

So that's limit a little the research....
