I used it last year and am planning to use it again this year as soon as I get my configuration more settled down.  It was a big help in generating all the channels and labels.

I appreciate you making it available.

OK

I will button up some code and then release it Tonight, the code is at home and I am at work. I might have to do a new video to show whats new.

The biggest change is it now has three tabs (Setup -1, Create -2, Sort/Save -3) With most of the work in the Create -2 tab

You can now adjust most of the Channel text output (a blank entry or zero - if number) will result in nothing in that spot along with turning on or off the dashes in between each. Color selection for non-RGB stuff has been added.
Example: LE - 16 Channel controller but the first 4 channels you want to be Red. You will select 4 channels and red (color button )

confusing? Its pretty easy once you get the idea but I saw with a tester that it was not as straight forward as I thought. Video would make the most cents :)

Thanks for the feedback

Rick R.

P.S.  Notes:
  • I still am not saving as a profile since it would ruin your day if you overwritten a current profile that a sequence was using.
  • Still not happy with the sort section.

Hi Folks,

Sorry for the delay. Last night while creating a video I discovered a couple of bugs and one nasty bug. The minor ones are gone and I have a solution for the nasty one. I hope to have it button up in a day or two.

Thanks for your patience

Any progress on the next version Rick?  Will the new version read in my old text file and let me modify it in the program?

I meant whatever file type was previously created by VSB.  keypoint is that updates always seem to be needed and once the channel count gets large it can be a pain to recreate from scratch using VSB.  Because of smart strings I've gone from under 200 channels two years ago to over 3000 last year and over 6000 this year.

here is a little glitch I ran into today when trying to recreate my profile.  I put in 8096 for my total channels, then created my first 4096 and when I tried to start the next element at 4097 I got an error.  I then realized I needed to click the update grid button to get the second universe and the program promptly wiped out the first 4096 and I had to start over.  That is not acceptable in a program.  If you need to wipe out the already created stuff give me the option to save it and then bring it back into an updated grid.  Just my two cents.  Frustrated <md..

Rick,
Are you planning on doing any more updates to this program in time for us to use for the 2013 season?
