It must be a fun job designing the graphics and animation that take advantage of the natural elements of the building.

Pretty sure that technology is out of the reach of DIY'ers (for now).

Disney does this type of projection at the Magic Kingdom on Cinderella's Castle.
It is pretty damn cool.

Heres a video

Yeah, I've seen that Disney video before.  The most amazing part is near the end when they send up fireworks that start as video projection on the building and then seamlessly transition to the real fireworks behind the building. Very clever.

I happen to have a software platfor called 3DS Max from Autodesk and I have done some animations to buildings where I had to show the demolition of an existing building and the construction of the new building and never timed it to music but it is not "impossible" by any stretch of the word.

However, just seeing that video now has me working on a new idea for the holidays.  I am thinking of ditching the coroplast band members and making a animated 3D shot and use two projectors to shot at the garage door at different but specific angles to create the 3D effect, now if I can just figure out a way to get 3D glasses donated so that passers-by can see the show as it is intended.

I only say that because I have held meetings where I used 2 projectors and showed a real life 3D view of the project that appeared to jump off of the screen.  Ahhhh, the ideas are running through my head now.  How says that Christmas is only in December?

don't forget to order the lens (not included) $15,500 and a spare bulb 15,500, and make sure that you have a crew to move it around it is a little heavy 400lbs and way out of my price range.
