So when I download the pixelnet plugin from the wiki page for pixelnet / smart strings ... and put that pixelnet.dll into the plugins/output directory ... it doesn't show up in the list of Vixen plugins ... anyone know why or what I'm not doing right?

Thx in advance.

It will show up in the Output Plugins when you set up your profile.

Thats the problem, it doesn't show up in the list, even though its in the plugins/output directory.

Strange

I just create a new sequence with no profile and the PixelNet plugin is in my attached plugins dropdown

When I do a new sequence, the attached plugins is greyed out ... can't select or view.

So I can only see the output plugins from a profile manager ... and in that list, pixelnet is not listed.

If a profile is selected when you run the wizard, it does grey out the attached plugins box.

try detaching the profile from the seq

Thanks.  Ok, no default profile anymore.  Now the list appears ... but pixelnet still isn't in it.

Is there anything else (to do) besides putting the pixelnet.ddl into the plugins/output folder ?

On my computer its between Olsen 595 and Renard Dimmer [modified]

Maybe that's the problem ... I'm using Vixen 2.5.0.8 ... should I remove and install the older version instead?
