.1uf caps question
« on: March 10, 2011, »
Sorry newbie question here.

Got my board and parts and ready to go. I know resistors have to be installed a certain way. But I can’t get past step 1 without knowing if the  .1uf caps (small yellow ball]) need to be installed a certain way? Writing on cap facing right / left on board?
Sorry I can’t tell on the manual pic.
Anything else I may run into?
Thanks
John

Greetings,,,

Those can go either way.  The one with the stripe, 100uf marking on board, 22uf in bom,  has to be installed only one way.

Keith

P.S.  Standard resistors can go either way.

John K- you may be thinking about resistor networks. Depending upon design, they MAY have to go a certain way.
These are the same either way.
