Wireless Coop Planned
« on: March 20, 2011, »
Greetings,,,

Getting the numbers together for a Coop.  May take several weeks for that, or sooner.  It will be for the Version 2 TX/RX, the case, and the Express Receiver EX/RX.  More info to come.

Nice! That was next on my wish list for coops.  Considering the number of LE's that just shipped in the recent coop (and the ones in the new coop), I suspect they'll be lots of interest in this wireless coop.  Thanks for offering your time and energy to take on this effort.

You are the Man!

I haven't even looked to see what kind of prices have been done in the past..  Maybe I should do that so I can plan....  Esp. since I just got into the next Express COOP.  Man I'm racking in the money.....

Shhhhhhh  Please Don't Tell The Wife What I've Spent So Far!!!!  She'd take it out of my hide!  Or worse! lol

I'd definately be interested in this !!

There's only two things I need to complete my plans for this coming year...this is one of them (MR16 PCB's is the other)

As a rough guess, I think I'd be up for around 5 units.

thanks, scott

I've been waiting for one to start, depending on how much I'll need at least 2 of each.

I would be interested.  I already have the PCB's I need.  It would be nice if you offered an option for everything minus the PCB's. :)

Greetings,,,

To answer a few questions:

The prices on this one don't drop very much, due to the wireless module prices.  And I have to get the current costs figured.  Waiting for price info to come in.  But every little bit counts.  And you get it all in one stop shopping.

This thread is the advance notice.  So people can think about what they want, if they haven't already.  But it will be opened for ordering for a couple of weeks or so.  Plenty of time for people to order, but not so long to keep the coop from being completed in a few months, depending upon backorders, etc.

The kit options will be the same as the last coop, in order to fill in the gaps from what people already have.

Aye, I assumed the prices would change one way or the other.  Hopefully we won't run into any issues with supplies the rest of this year with all the craziness in Japan.

Please set me straight.  In order to control some native LOR boxes and some RENARD both running DMX I would need a minimum of 1 TX/RX configured to TX  and at least  1  TX/RX in Receive mode.

Can the LE/RX be used with Renard and/or LOR?

Also which module would I need to control the Aether?
Thanks
Michael
