That helps. Thanks.  Sounds like TX/RX will work and EX 'might' work with mods but no guarantees.  I'm already running everything in DMX so LOR specific software functions are not an issue.

That being the case I'd be in for at least 3 TX/RX PCBs, BOMs and Cases.
Thanks
Michael

Just to avoid a potential misunderstanding, this is not the coop.
Putting it on your wishlist is fine,, but if you don't post on the coop, your wishlist will not be fulfilled...

understood, this is the interest thread to give you an idea of the size of the coop.  I look forward to your post directing us to the actual COOP thread.
Thanks

Greetings,,,

This thread is just to let people know a Coop is planned to start in probably a couple of weeks or so.  Waiting for pricing info, and getting the numbers together.  Letting people know since so many LEs are out there that may be planned to be controlled by wireless, as well as other items.

Just off the top of my head and depending on pricing  I am looking at 2-4 TX/RX boards an 3-5 for my expresses and SSR/DMX boxes if that coop ever happens.

And I would like 5, so this look like their is a lot of interest for a coop of wireless.

Thanks for finding out pricing and time line for parts.  :D

The number of LE's is not important.  What matters is how you want to hook them up.  If you want each ne to be an indepndant unit then you would need one for each LE and a transmitter.  If the LE's are close enough to cable them together then you only need 1 per group of LE's wired together.
If at first you don't succeed,
your not cut out for sky diving

Do I need the LE/RX header pin to hookup the EX/RX in an AETHER?
Thanks

you do not need the special connector for the Aether.  Just one LE/RX board.  There are 3 holes in the Aether board waiting for you to solder in 3 connector wire (+, - and data).   The info in the Wiki points you to the page about the  special connector because that is where the info on how to pick up the +/-/d from the LE/RX is shown.   Because of the metal shell for the Aether, the wireless board (LE-RX) is mounted separated from the aether board and connected only by wire.

Hope this helps.
