Dongle 22uf Capacitor
« on: March 24, 2011, »
Since Mouser has the 22uf capacitors on back-order (August) I went ahead and purchased several (20) from an alternate supplier. If you need one to complete your build let me know.

Yeah I will need a couple....i picked up two from radio shack but did not remember the voltage.  The radio shack ones are rated for up to 35vdc....I don't guess this will work???

Not sure. RadioShack dose not list the full specs of the parts. I know that a cap will only charge to the applied voltage and these exceed that particular specification so that is fine. It is the rest of the specs that might be of concern. Example, though probably not a problem the max operating temperature is different between the two.

If you are interested in the ones I got just PM me.

Well, if you need a capacitor that you didn't get with the parts kit I have some. It would have been nice if the girl I spoke with at Mouser had saw that this was the same item as the one listed in the dongle BOM. <fp.

Oh well, I am the proud owner of some extra capacitors anyways. ;D

Ironically, mouser sent out my order somehow, even though it had been delayed due to this part and still shows no stock.    I haven't checked to see if this part is in it, but if it is, I may have some extras to share.  Thanks again for doing this.
