Does this mean that we need to solder in something at the end of each of our SS items, between data wires 1 and 2?  Or is this built into
each SSC ?

I was just realizing that if this is required, then I need to order some parts to do this.

The SmartString controllers are already terminated.  The spec is for people designing there own PixelNet and SmartString devices and it really woudn't say much for RJ if he didn't follow his own spec.   ;)
