I wish I had a workshop like that!

Nice setup, including the MR16.

Great Job

The case is interesting where did you get it?

You should have plenty of light

They like color.  Turn them on so she can see the light.  Awesome job.

Love it!

I have a similar setup to yours, but I ended up using a plastic tool box to house my controller and power supply.  I also set up patch panels to run out cat 5 to the lights.  I even ended up using the same housings!

Fun stuff and yours looks great!

What size power supply are you using and what housing is that!  Love the look.

Thanks for the compliments guys. I plan to paint the lights to not stand out so much.

The workbench is one of the perks of my job. There actually 16 setups, just like in the picture, in my electronics lab. I teach electronics at a community college. It is so nice to be able to spread out across multiple workbenches.

The enclosure is actually one from yourbroadband store before they shut down. I think it is a 2000 model/series. When I noticed they were reducing inventory, I bought a small stockpile of them. I only have about 4 or 5 left now. The LE will fit in them also. The power supply is from an old small form factor PC and the output jacks are RJ45 keystone jacks epoxied to the bottom.

Everything worked out nicely.

I have considered heat issues with the P/S. I did leave the fan in there to circulate the air. My main thought is at full on the setup will only draw ~3.6A. It shouldn't get too hot.

You can find Big Clive assembly info at You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login . You have to calculate resistor values to match the LEDs you buy. I'll see if I can snap another pic and post later.

Is there any chance you could post a video of these lights. I have been corresponding back & forth with them & I am interested in buying a few. I was the one that had them make up the kits for the floods because I do not know one LED from another.

           Thanks Mike
