Light Show Pro and Windows 7 (32 bit)
« on: July 02, 2011, »
I am recycling computers in preparation for the upcoming season... The first thing I notices was that my old laptop which was used to drive my show was a bit under powered.  I now have a newer, old laptop with which I want to use.
However, it is Windows 7, 32 bit.  I noticed there were a few issues previously with Windows 7 where one doesn't load the drivers prior to inserting the USB DMX adapter.
I have the option to do this with Windows XP or Windows 7.
What is the general consensus on the matter..
Good old tried and true Windows XP or Go for the new and improved Windows 7.....

Greetings,,,

Try Windows 7, unless you have any other reason not to.

I have used it on two laptops one with Windows xp and one with Windows 7 without issue. Just make sure you install the 3.5 version of .net framework. Here is the link: You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login
