Error message with Transitions

I am trying to apply a transition with layers in LSP V2 and I get this error message when I attempt a transition:

There was an error getting the animation frames from the transition video.  This can be caused by an incompatible video format or missing codecs.  Please edit the transition settings to locate a compatible transition video.

Exception in VideoStreanGetFrameOpen!

Not sure what the issue is.  Any Ideas?

You are not giving enough information for anyone to help you.  What type and version is the video that you are trying to use for the transition.  Since this is a new version of LSP, I would suggest opening a ticket on LSP's site and give them as much information as you can.

They are the canned transitions with LSP V2 Pro version.  Not sure the type of video they use in their canned transitions.

* Does it occur with all the videos you tested or just one?
* Have you installed the codec pack that comes with LSP?
* Can you view the video outside of LSP in something like media player?

Sounds like you do not have the Divx codec installed.  You can download the codecs from Divx.com.  Just install the codec pack and be careful not to install all of the random stuff also included.

Yes it happens with all of the transitions I have tried.

Yes I remembered seeing a message the first time I ran the installer about errors with transition videos. I re ran the installer and it installed the codec pack.

Yes I can play the transitions outside of Lightshowpro with media player.

I got it to work finally.  I reinstalled it again and it works now.
