LSP V2 Locking up with Pixelnet
« on: September 23, 2011, »
 Hi,

I can run everything fine in V2 except when I enable output it locks up the program. Testing the hardware works fine everything comes on and responds as it should. When I enable output and run a sequence to test it with the hardware connected it locks up LSP and I have to force it to end its task.

    Setup is:

Winxp -> Lynx dongle (pixelnet flash) -> SSC hub -> DMX out to one express

Any ideas. Did a clean install of LSP. Happens on both my laptop and desktop same configuration.

I posted the same problem on LSP's forum.

pixelnet is working fine for me - but I had to turn off "Serial Enumerator" under the advanced tab for the com port settings for the dongle.....

Myk,
Did you find it locking up or just disabled through device manager.  I am beginning on LSP and PixelNet and am curious to see if I need to disable it.  I saw it in the control panel -  > Device -> Advanced but left as default for now.

Try the following steps to see if it clears your problem.

The following steps should fix the locking up problem when click on STOP & PAUSE:
1. Right Click on Controller Bar
2. Go to "Configure Controller Output Plug-in"
3. Under Effect Refresh (it was on 30) I changed it to 320.

And that should fix with locking-up when click on STOP & PAUSE.

Good luck
