I guess that my question would be is the slave unit really just a conductor in slave mode and if nt, what is the difference between them?

LOL!

At work we have mobile computer stations. We used to call them COWs (Computer On Wheels) This worked fine until one day a nurse was over heard asking another nurse to "go down the hall and get that COW." The lady that heard it threw a huge fit thinking the they were calling a patient a cow. <fp.

Now we call them TEDs (Transportable Electronic Devices)

How about the Lynx S-word.  We'll all know what it means, but we don't actually say it, so that makes it OK, right?

I so hope that a bunch of this banter is meant to be funny, because if everyone is so uptight about the word slave, we really have take political correctness way past reasonable.  Please tell me that this is all an attempt at comedy and restore my faith in reasonable thinking.

"Political Corectness stinks.  >:D"

I cannot think of anything else other than the current financial collapse that will bring us closer to the brink as a country.  We are so afraid of offending anyone that messages get watered down to the point where they are meaningless.
