LSP E1.31 Plug-in
« on: October 23, 2011, »
Attached is a screenshot of configering the the LSP plug-in.  You need to add an entry for each range of channels you are using.  In this example, 2 hubs are being used.  Channels 4097+ would be for the second hub.

So what does the Etherdongle output look like?  Are all 16k channels sent over pins 1&2  OR is ch1-4096 on 1&2; 4097-8192 on 3&4 etc...?
IF I had two hubs daisey-chained - how are the hubs jumpered - Pixelnet pos 1 on both or pos 1 on Hub 1 and pos 2 on Hub2 etc...?

The etherdongle takes in from the network the E1.31 DMX channel + the universe number (whats shown in the attachment) and maps that to the pixelnet channel output. The EtherDongle acts as 4 differnet dongles and output the signal on 4 different pairs of wires.  All the jumpers do is tell the hub what pair of wires to read the signal from being sent from the etherdongle.

Hub 1 = pixelnet both jumpers on 1
Hub 2 = pixelnet both jumpers on 2
Hub 3 = pixelnet both jumpers on 3
Hub 4 = pixelnet both jumpers on 4
