« on: October 25, 2011, »
I got my Aether kits I have a few questions. What does switch 1 and 2 labled sw1 sw2 do? in the top right corner is a symbols that looks to be a 2 pin header for a jumper labled Man. Is this still in use and should there be parts for it ?what is the fuse rated at?

Thank You
Shaun

On the original Aether, it was to wire up a switch so that you could turn it on "manually" and use it as a spot light as needed without a computer or dongle.  I assume this one is the same.  Just an assumption though.

Thanks,

What is the part number for the power supply for thr Aether 2 and how many units will it run?  Where is the best place to get them?

I just bought a Landscape Transformer from home depot.

After figuring in the shipping(these things are heavy) it is as cheap as mail order and I can take it back if I have problems and get another one.

Heres what I got :

I picked up one of those from HD yesterday and it's powering my first built Aether II as we speak. I'm working under the assumption that it will power the 4 Aethers I picked up in the coop. So far, so good.

The led is rated 40 watts but that would be all 4 colors on at the same time. The aether will not turn them all on only three. I am using 35 watts per as a safe level.
