How many controllers can be used after the mr16 controller

I noticed on  the mr16 controller, the dmx runs straight through and out of the board. There is no rs485 boasting the signal. How many controllers are allowed before the signal gets degraded.

The old standard was 32 devices from a single RS-485 chip (say the Dongle)

Of course you add a newer LE (with output 2) and or wireless and that number really doesn't matter.

So the signal wont be affected, even though the signal is not being amplified by the mr16.

Before the LE v3 none of the Lynx hardware rebroadcast the signal. So yeah
