MR 16 Resistor Question
« on: November 30, 2011, »
I bought 3 MR16 from a member on the board that were to have come from a coop. My question the resistors that I have are color Brown/Black/Red/Gold & Brown/Gray/Brown/Gold. Neither one of these fit the colors for the 4.7 & 120 resistor. Are these replacement resistors or do I need to get the correct ones. These are v2 boards & BOM.

             Thanks Mike

I was in the recent MR16 coop and received 4.7K, 1K, 1.2K, 180, and 120 resistors (in addition to the 16 3k's).  The V2 board has spots for one each of the 4.7K, 1K, 180, and 120 resistors.  Not sure what the 1.2K was put in for (it's not in the BOM) unless it was for use if you run the board without MOSFET's.  The manual in the Wiki is out of date as it refers to the V1 board so it is missing some of these resistors.

The 1.2K resistor was on the BOM that I was using for the Co-Op. It is not needed and the BOM in the Wiki has since been updated.
