Aether I issue
« on: November 30, 2011, »
Last year I built 4 Aether and 3 of the 4 are working really well this year.  The 4th one has an odd issue.  Out of the 6 LEDs, 4 of them remain dimmly lit showing Red.  I can still control ALL of the LED and the output colors look right.  Its just when the channel is off, the 4 LEDs glow RED.  Not sure I really want to spend too much time troubleshooting this, but curious why some would always be getting current.  Thoughts?

There were some people having this issue, typically caused by not using enough thermal adhesive under one of the LEDs.

RJ created a video on this. Scroll down to the Aether section for some videos.

Thanks Gary.  I totally forgot about those videos and am sure that's the issue.
