There was quite abit of argument about it over at DIYC recently, and I think the developers more or less said "It will be 0-100 as in percent, live with it" if I remember correctly.

It is 0 to 100 to far but there is more to it than that.  For example, you can eter values such as 75.25 or 99.1.  You are not locked into integer values like 1 to 100 or 1 to 255.  The idea is that you are not restricted into 8 bit values but in my opinion, they are kinda going the wrong way.  Do we really need 64 bit controllers to control Christmas lights???

Absolutely! It just isn't a show unless it has a 64-bit processor!
(Sorry, can't keep a straight face on that one)

Seriously, that processor could address a ridiculous amount of channels. That's like using a blown funny car in a derby race.
