I see that you have a solderless LED connector on the end of your string.  What are you using that for?

btw, i'd like to point out that in testing my dumb strips, the + and the R  were correct, but the B and the G were backwards

it's the interface between the wiring hardness and the dumb strip. i could just solder wires to the dumb strip pcb, but then it gets messy, and these make is so much easier, and relieves the strain of the wires.

I guess that my question is, how are you using it.  Unless I misread the description and that could very well be the case, how are you going to attached the plugin connector to it?

I guess if you are going to solder them to the connector then yea, it makes sense.  How will these connectors deal with water?

i'm getting there...  my time is torn between ssc modding, smart arches (smart string project 2012) and my dumb string project (smart mini trees)
