I only bring this up, I have just finished with my first DMX tester.
I think that RJ has done it again. I was about to modify one of my (EX/RX) for the tester, And started to wonder if it would work as an express transmitter.
I loaded it with the tester TX firmware, Installed the wired jumper, and started a wired test sequence. As I hoped the wireless express on the other side of the room was responding. Moved the wireless express outside and it was still working.
No hardware changes on the (EX/RX).
I plan on doing some range testing. The Wireless(TX/RX) has an output power of 20 dbm and the tester TX has an output power of 0 dbm.
