Ledtriks II proto development
« on: December 18, 2008, »
Lets play... What the heck is RJ up to...

I expect some of you will know right away what this is and what it is for.
So give it a day or so for others to think about it before telling.

I will give you a hint!   It is a scale up of a prototype and it does have something to do with blinky flashy!

It's a self winding reel to store all those strands of mini lights. I'll need several when the coop starts ;D :D

Nice one Brad.

I thought it was going to be something about global thermo nuclear war or whoppers when I read the thread name.

I figured RJ was going to tape cards to it to get that old bike/spoke/card sound going for some part of his show.

Does that spin pretty fast?  I would guess so.  Any problem with the fans staying in sync?

Well it has Fans and DC maybe some type of Light warp chamber for Blinky Light you intend on using massive amounts of air flow to create a Northern Light type of effect ? Hmmmmm

looks kind of like the middle part inside the old Martin robo-scan (DJ light - fake laser show)...  *could* be naughty  ;)

Greetings,,,

Always responsive to the diy lighting community's needs, you've obviously found a way to rotate the controllers in their cases and remove any water through spinning force and the fans, thus solving the problems of moisture build up.  This explains all the water tank pics.  Those big green things, complete with faucets on the front to water the lawn with the extra water.

Wait, don't tell me.  You've also found a refrigeration solution to put around those green water tanks, thus throwing snow out the front assembly!

Coffee grinder (bottom portion) with laser style status indicator.

Top portion spins and displays time, date, days till next christmas (or easter or halloween or columbus day, next major innovation, etc.... )  on the ceiling and 3 walls.     Readable display at 8 to 20,000 feet.     (great for that Batman distress signal  but that requires small firmware change to downgrade from blinky to just flashy).
