A note for the future:
When Target goes 75% off (normally New Years day) the indoor 6,9,15 ft cords are the best deal around. all three for 1.49. I got hundreds of them.

Dollar stores will often have 8' extension cords.  2-prong, 3-tap, ...for $1 each.  I've raided stores for 50 at a time, then gone to the next store.

Every one has an old computer power cord lying around somewhere... I just use those.
If holiday decorating is wrong, I don't wanna be right!
