OK, here is the latest and I've got good new and bad news. First the good news...all the electronic parts are in except for two pieces that are backordered. They should ship this week, but they won't hold anything up as they can be used for my kits and I guess 2 parts short out of over 8500 is not too bad.
Now the bad news. The 8 degree spot lenses (kit 2) are a WEEEEEEEEE bit big. You can see the comparison in the picture below. Mouser's catalog page showed them to all be the same, but they are actually twice as big as the others and will not fit with the standard cases in a standard setup. This will only affect 23 people, but we need to deal with it. therefore, the options for those affected are as follows:
1. You can convert the 8 degree lenses to a different lens and I will place a new order for the other lenses.
2. I can refund your cost of the 8 degree lenses that you ordered.
3. I guess a third option is I can send you what you originally ordered, but not sure how you would use them as you could not close the lid/lens of the light housing.
I am going to leave this thread unlocked so that the people affected can post with how they want their order modified. If this event affects your order, please post here with what you want done. I will give those affected until Sunday, April 22 @ 7:00pm to post with their preference. If they do not post, then their 8 degree lens order will be refunded by default.
It was probably at least half my fault, but I do put some blame on Mouser. Sorry for the oversight and the mixup, but we'll get through it.
