Sean, Progress, so far I was able to get the WAMP server online by using the following procedure: Disabling IIS in Vista/W7: To do this I went to Control Panel, Uninstall Programs, Turn Windows Features On or Off, and unchecked Internet Information Services. Now I am having the same errors as Pete. Back to the drawing board!
