Aether power supply
« on: May 04, 2012, »
I would like to have each of my aether's powered separately.  Does any one have a source for a power supply that would work with the aether.  I would preferr to have it mounted in the fixture enclosure with a standard edison plug coming out of the aether but will look at all options.

You would probably have a difficult time doing that.  They run on 12VAC so any supply that provides that with the required current will work.  The issue that you will pobably have is fitting it into the case.  This was one of the issues that RJ had when he redesigned the unit as well as the added cost.  It turned out to be much more cost and space effective to only put the rectifier and regulation in the case and power them with an external landscape power supply.  This also gave him much more room for the LED's heat sink.
