My original plan this year was to run (2) EtherDongles one programmed for DMX and One programmed for pixelnet
but while on the phone with a friend the other day He told me there is no way to run 2 etherdongles right now....
Does anyone know if this is going to be a possibility this year or do I need to start ordering dome USB dmx dongles?
Thanks

not sure that is true.

RJ has posted beta firmware that allows EtDs to be configured with different address space.

I don't know RJ's plan to make these versions "official", but it is something that you can use now.

Since all are pixelnet, you'd need to program the first EtD with the released DMX image, and the second EtD with the EtherDongle 33_64.hex version (pixelnet).

Looks like it's going to be for Pixelnet only right now.

Scanning the thread it is definitely beta code and some bugs being worked out.

you could try asking RJ is he currently plans to do something like this.   in the meantime, why not break out dmx from an active hub?  if one is running pixelnet anyways, you can set aside a block of 512 channels for use with DMX.
To rule the entire tri-state area!  What's that? Perry the Platypus!!!
