Also got some Malibu light holders modified for the MR16's.
Thanks to blearning for showing me these cool holders.  They are about $4.60 each and work great.

From where? I like those better than the PVC one's I have.

I love those Malibu sockets.  They are from USA light and electric  You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login

...  and the connectors for the SPT cable

Now what are you going to do with all those 20 watt Halogens you took out of them LOL ...

Make a heat lamp?  SMILE

What are you using for a Power supply?   Me an old PC power supply ...

For the connectors on the MR16's I'm just going to use the clips that came with the wire.  Since I was able to use the existing socket and wire that came with the Malibu holders I should be able to clip them onto some standard SPT.
Those Malibu holders are pretty cool for the price.

Yea I have a big box of reflectors and 12V 20Watt bulbs to find something to do with  ;D

I am also just going to use an old PC ATX power supply

That cardboard mounting isn't going to hold up too well if it rains or snows...  ;D

Still working on the display.

Worked on the window frames and resistor mounts for the MR16.  I wanted the resistors to be mounted so they would have support.  I cut small rectangles from a piece of perf board from Radio Shack and used it to secure the resistor and the wires to.  After that a little bit of heat shrink to cover it.  On the Window frames I planned on having 3 strings of C9 lights around each window so instead of mounting them around the windows I mounted them to a frame to make the install easier.

I like the big bulbs.  We used them all the time when I was a kid.  Each window will have 72 C9 bulbs around it.  I removed one bulb and the female plug end from each string.  I wanted an even number of bulbs and I was not going to plug any thing into the strings.

Still have work to do for the MR16's and window frames but it's getting there.

Those C9's are going to be awesome Bill!  Are you going to fit them with LED Retros?  I'm so jealous... when I moved here I left at least 60 strings behind.  And of course then the C9 LED's were practically unheard of.

Getting there... feel good, huh?
