Personally I prefer to use a forstner bit which gives a flat surface with no steps.  Same problem where there are two adjacent in that you need to alternate.

Cool but the step really really doesn't act like a step since it is just drilling out the plastic.  
I just had it on hand and found that it did a nice automatic type job.

I like it but I also found after most of mine were done that a pair of ceramic tile nippers will cut them out faster then you can say Merry Christmas ... I wish I had known that XX cases ago ... LOL

Just place the tile nippers on the tab and cut it.  It will pop off about as clean as you can be and will take up to 3 out at a time ...

Well it was a long day but all 10 new conrtrollers have been cased, corded, and wireless modules added.
