Sean,

Do you have an idea if and when LSP would be supported this year. I know you have stated that LSP output is many times more difficult than the others and would take possibly weeks to implement (weeks you might not have). Plus it is the time of year when we should all be focusing on our own shows. So I understand if it is not implemented. I am just trying to figure out what tools I have available as I start sequencing this week. Thanks for all the work you have done so far.

Since there is a workaround, it is not as high a priority. Some people in Australia have already loaded up Nutcracker effects into LSP.

Superman from auschristmas shared how it is done

Suppose you have 8 strings with 50 pixels. Normally you would 8 with 50 in the target generator.

Instead ebter all of them as if they are on one string. So you enter 1x400. When asked how many strands to make you pick 8 or 16 or whatever. To me, i will generate everything the same way.

You now create an lms file and import that lms file. The key is that the lms file needs to have one physical string in order to create the rgb channels.

Here was supermans post

"2) If you don't make a real tutorial, could you pm me maybe the half dozen steps to get it to work.
I don't have any of my old NC files that used to import,so no luck there of screen record, but this is what i was doing
setup tree in NC as
1 string
800 pixel
folded 32 times
2400 channels

that way when it imported into LSP it did so as a single 2400 controller.
draw tree in visualiser
configure controller for output.
After the first time i drew it and saved it to my controller library as the NC tree."

The problem is you can't draw and split the tree in LSP as 1 string. Min. is 2,

Once the channels come in correctly you can draw the channel images using as many strings as you want. Then just map them to tree.

Aaaaaaaaaa! I see. I still don't have my hands around this. I need to spend more time. To much soldering.  <md..
