i have 12 lynx express version 5
1 either dongle
1 usb dongle
1 ssr
1 16 ch dc controller
all flashed dmx
anyone in mississippi who would like to mentor a newby on how this software works with
the above equipment
my bad it is lor software version 3 no wonder i am confused does anyone have a cheat sheet for it?

I don't live near by, and don't have expresses.

But I do have :
LSP
1 Ether dongle
2 USB Dongles
2 Hubs (with DMX brought out of the Hubs)
2 16 Channel D-Light AC Controllers flashed to DMX
24 Smart String Controllers
All the above is currently up and running as my test rig in the garage

I'm happy to help where I can (although I'm no expert with all the above), feel free to PM or post in this thread.

Hi, Sabie-
Did you get the help you needed?  I use LOR S3 (and Nutcracker) to program and xLights as the scheduler to drive 400+ channels of DMX and 12+ flex strips of PixelNet.  I am just outside Jackson and may be able to assist, if necessary.

I'm a LOR S3 user and will have 30+ Lynx Expresses via an ED this year. I had 8 last year via an Entec Pro.  It's a good software package but it will have it's weaknesses with some things in the DIY space.  If you are new and don't have any attachment to S3 I would check out the others first.  I'm at a handicap because I started with S3 so I naturally think anything else not like it is a pain.

There is a video on using the ED, LE and S3 that a member here did.  Check it out.
