I've been busy...

This sequence took minutes to make in Vixen 2.1.

I needed to find something to do while being unemployed.  So, I taught myself Python.  It sure beats trying to copy and paste everything AND will be easy to sync with music!

Also, if you know of any communications/marketing/PR jobs in the Denver metro area, PM me!

Regards,
Steve

The arch is made from thin wall PVC with 3 meters of flex strip inside.  (You can see the rest of the strip light up when I use hybrid mode.)

Steam and a homemade jig was used to bend the PVC.

@pk:  Don't we have 3 more to make?  You will have to come to my house!  I think I figured out a way to integrate the SSC into the stand.

That is way cool !!!.  You say you wrote a python program to do the programing?  Is that like a add-in to Vixen or is it more like what Nutcracker is?

Very good and smooth.

Hey Kevin-

Python is a programming language that's free and supported online through various forums.  It works in a DOS-prompt looking emulator.  The program works by entering your arch/string characteristics, then asks you which colors, how fast, etc.  Based on that info a VIR file is generated and saved in the Vixen routines folder.  It's VERY basic!

What's better than 1 RGB Arch?

Sunday Funday included the construction of 3 more arches, making the controllers "weather resistant", and another demo sequence...

They look real good.  Do you neighbors think you are crazy for playing with Christmas decorations in August?  Mine do LOL.  Now if you could only figure out how to turn that street light off!!
