Triggering sequences
« on: August 12, 2012, »
Hey y'all, I need your creative assistance if at all possible.  For Halloween I am doing a trail where I would like sequences triggered by inputs (PE beams and the such). I have only seen one mention of this on this board but I have not heard back.  I am using LOR and am working with xLights.  I tickled CSF and he told me to put it out there, so here I am!!

Thanks in advance for your insight.

Come on !!!!  With all you guys out there doing different things, and the knowledge within this forum, NO ONE has had the need to trigger certain sequences based on specific inputs??   <fp.  If not LOR and xLights, how else can I do this?  The sequence will have servo control, audio and lighting involved.

I really appreciate all ya'll do  <la..

Per vixen's download page: ( You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login )
"Up to four Velleman K8055 boards, with five digital inputs each, can be used for a total of up to 20 digital input triggers. Also requires K8055.dll and K8055D.dll. These can be placed in the Plugins/Output directory."  So you can use Vixen with Velleman K8055s

Vixen also allows you to send http requests to trigger channels.

I am using LOR - The more I am looking at the Vixen forums and such the more I see I can convert my sequences to vix files.
