lynx express PCB and CG1500 enclosure
« on: August 14, 2012, »
I just received my shipment of 6 CG 1500 enclosures  from WLC.  I was surprised to find out that only 1 screw hole on the Lynx express PCB  would line up with the 76 mounting bosses provided in the cases. Looks like i will be making adapter plates.  Any ideas on doing that?

I made some 1/4" strips of wood that are an inch and a half wide and covered the tops of the screws that I used to hold them in place with electrical tape.

I drilled through the back of the case and mounted a bolt, then on the inside I used a nut on each side of the board to lock it in place.  I may have a picture somewhere, I will have to look.

the manufaturer of the enclosures make changes to the enclosures to changing specifications in the telephone and cable industries.   you have the new design.
