my first aether II
« on: August 26, 2012, »
so i've been procrastinating since i built my first aether ii from taking it outside and trying it out.

basic aether ii in a yellow worklight enclosure attached to a lowes landscaping transformer.
no lenses...

original intent...   light up my 8ft tall hedges on a property line.
result...    it lit up, but since the hedges were a dark green, getting many colors proved not a good choice.

2nd idea...  light up my tan shed...
result...  better, colors looked slightly off since there is a tan color to the shed to start off with.  however it lit up well even from about 40ft away.

3rd idea...   turn it around and point point it at the house...  (white vinyl siding)
result...   HOLY COW, i wasn't even pointed directly at the house, and it lit up the whole side well.  with white on , or full blue on, the side of my house sorta had like a blacklight kind of glow along with the color shining on the house!
To rule the entire tri-state area!  What's that? Perry the Platypus!!!
