WTB TX/RX and USB Dongle cases
« on: August 30, 2012, »
I'd like to find 4 USB Dongle cases and 4 TX/RX cases with the cut-outs already done.
I have PCBs that did not arrive from a coop.

I'll order from Polycase if I can't find something already with cut-outs, but I know from my first attempts that I don't make clean cuts. :)

Steve, would you know if there is a template around to do the cut-outs?

There is a template for the Dongle case.

I suppose that I should get a Dremel for this and similar tasks.  Does a dremel do small, square holes well?

The Dremel (with the right bit) cuts well but how well still depends on the person using it.  It you try and hog out the hole quickly, then the tool will try and wonder and your hole will not be very square.  If you take your time time the results might be suprising.  If you want the corners square, you will still need a file to do that.
If at first you don't succeed,
your not cut out for sky diving

That is cool!

I wonder if I can return it to the dealer after finishing my 8 cases?
