Are you talking about creating a model for one or are you talking about emulating a spiral tree with smartstrings?

I am converting my mega tree from last year (incandescent) to a spiral tree this year.  It has 12 string of white, green, red but I cant figure out how to set it up in LSP so that it looks like a spiral tree - I want to be able to see the desired effects as I sequence. The tree is DMX controlled with lynx controllers

I think you are going to have to hand draw it with the C9 draw tool.

Check out the macros in LSP or as another option you can use the Nutcracker effects to accomplish what you want to do.
Thanks

I think the closest you will get is using the z-tree tool, that is next to the megatree tool when drawing effects.

Use nutcracker.  We will be releasing a new version (2.5) soon that will allow you to easily add effects to songs, without touching the darn piano roll 50ms grids.

Does nutcracker provide some way to create the effect on the visualizer?

I think using nutcracker (from my limited experience) to generate effects for a tree is fantastic, but was not aware that it provided something for the LSP visualizer (I know you get the animated image on the site to see what it will look like, but I think he wants to see it with the rest of his sequence running).

2011 - Year #1
    4000 lights and 16 channels
    5 Songs sequenced
2012 - Year #2
    5000 lights and 123 channels
    8 Songs sequenced
