Gallery problem

I tried to download some of the effects in the gallery to my effects library when I click on submit it says the effect has been copied into the effect library, but it does not show up. I know your to do list is big. I was just wondering if it was something I was doing or if it was a bug.

Having the same problem

Also unable to create an effect on matrix target.  I am able to create an effect on tree target, but not matrix.

Getting lots of warning messages about skipping unreadable files and can't plot with empty x range

Let me know if you want me to provide screen shot or anything

i believe both o fthese are bugs. i think i fixed the first one, just a little more testing. i am getting ready to release single strand effects tonight.

Is anyone else having trouble with the gallery not showing the form/letting you see more than one at a time.

When I click the gallery.php I don't see a form like you used to to choose your options, just a long list like this..

If I click on the link (the numbers are links) it will show 1 gif at a time at the very bottom.

yep, this is a bug.

As i posted somewhere (10 forums, 5 threads)

"Other bugs i know of
1)layer effect doesnt work
2)gallery copy not working
3)gallery doesnt display next chunk of effects
4) vertical matrix not working as a target

Since none of these bugs affects single strand targets or effects, i am trying to finish that off so people can be using it.

i am working the single strand effects and try to get them out to everyone.

I am taking my twin 11yo boys camping with the boy scouts this weekend. i will have limited time to work nutcracker. I have a major project due this friday at work.

no excuses, just i have limited time for development.

i will work the bug list next week.

Everyone, Kurt Gustafson has finished two bugs.

1) gallery not copying
2) Unable to go to next page.


gallery should back to normal now.

I'm still seeing the same results.  Never see the form like you used to to filter what to see.  This is all I see.

Nevermind I figured it out.  Looks like a bad link to an old gallery.  If you click on effects the link on the bottom of that page goes to an old gallery.

We will work to get those reference errors fixed.  The Gallery changes were kind of quickly put together.  We didn't go back and make sure all references were pointing to the right place.  Also, this functionality is really beta.  We are still testing the code, so errors may ensue (actually have found a few already).  One recommendation I have is that if you are going to change the number of records shown dramatically downward (aka from something like 500 to 10) the code does not reset the pointer correctly.  What you should do is just re-click the Gallery button and start from the beginning -- this will be fixed in later versions of the gallery code.  We just wanted to get something to you all before the Xmas seasons gets in full swing that is marginally functional.
