Importing from Vixen - check your plugins first.
« on: September 22, 2012, »
If you decide to import a Vixen sequence into LSP 2.5. Before you do the import, go into the vixen sequence and make sure that you have only the Entrec DMX USB Pro mapped for use and selected. If you have, for example, the Adjustable Viewer also mapped for use or any other plugin, remove it. Even if it is not checked, If you import a Vixen sequence into LSP 2.5 with more than one plugin listed in use, the sequence will import OK. But, if you try to add the controller to the library, LSP will lock up. At least it locks up on my machine.

No. It was 2 am when I figured it out after 4 hours working on it. Went to bed. Will likely do that tonight or tomorrow.

Thanks for the tip, I had been trying to import sequences with lipsync and had no luck. I did however manage to get one sequence to import but didn't know why this one came in but others wouldn't.

Turned out the one that did had the previewer removed.

Cheers Kev :-)
