Do you have the control panel in S3 running?

I can't help directly as I don't have my ED yet but maybe this will help.

desktop running windows 7 64 bit
connecting etherdongle to router
the software lor control panel see's the etherdongle best i can tell
the start channel software i was running with lor software unloaded which shuts down control panel software so the start channel software could talk to it
upon close examination i think the 2 lower far right pins appear to be shorted to the small flat pack

just for giggles, lets try to run just vixen (even though it's not your normal app) with the etherdongle plugin for dmx, when you run a sequence (make make up some random stuff for a quick sequence of like 10 secs) does the mag jack light flash more frequently than when the sequence stops? this is the quickest very simple way to test, then we can try to see if it's hardware, software, or network settings

I am looking at your pictures and notice a couple of close points that may be soldered together.  Can you check all of your joints?  I think trying in Vixen is a good idea for verifying also.

ok, so it looks as if the etherdongle is responding to the network connection...

so does the Lynx Express (16 outputs) flash when you run it's onboard self test?

I know that I do not have an ED, but just wondering if the ED uses a different network cable compared to the USB dongle (Trying to ask does it need a cross-over or a straight through cat5 cable) to the express board?

combustionmark also posted awhile ago about a firewall issue. Could your firewall on the computer be stopping the DMX multicast?
