missing flashes when laying beat track

so i have done 3 songs already, one from scratch and two borrowed. they are playing fine.  i am laying the beat track to my 4th song and i notice that sometimes it skips the blink. the box is colored in, but no flash on preview. the slower i replay the song, the blink starts to work. at half speed it blinks on every note that it is supposed to blink. just curious as to whether it is in my lap top or in my media player.

Could it be that or is it just blinkng to fast to see it.

it blinks in adjustable preview?  or the lights?   If you're using an EtherDongle, are you set up to use your sequence at 50ms?
