Merge utility for Nutcracker to LSP UserPatterns.xml file

I asked my friend to whip up a small utility to merge the exported LSP XML file from Nutcracker to the UserPatterns.xml file in LSP 2.5. He coded it up in Ruby and is available at You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login

He's not really supporting it, and is a Unix guy, but it seems to work OK, or at least from my testing. Please be sure to back up your original UserPatterns.xml file before using in case the script blows it up.

Have you tested the merg utility yet?

I got just a bit lost in trying to understand if I can run a version of ruby on a windows machine.

It looked to me like most of the instructions are for doing this on a unix based OS.
