Hello All,

Is anybody else seeing a straight black line where the image is supposed to show up in the gallery?

Nutcracker issue with IE9. Can use another browser until it gets sorted, Firefox seems to be doing alright with it and in another thread I believe people said Chrome and possibly Safari were doing alright as well.

I can validate that both those browsers (Chrome and Safari) work.

Nice video Sean.  You made a comment that Gallery copy won't work locally.  I don't think that is true.  The code works fine locally as well (at least it it did the last time I tried a gallery copy).  The only thing that the local version doesn't have is all the thumbnails (for obvious reasons!) so the pictures are just blank for each effect.

Yep, you are right Kurt. Copy works, you can see 4700 effect names. You just cant see the animated gif so you dont know what the effects look like.

it is on our to do list to do something like this

Loop thru every effect (EFFECT_USER_HDR)
for each effect check if there is already an animated gif (effects/workspaces/{$member_id}/{$effect_name}_th.gif
if doesnt exist call batch run for that user.

One question is what target we would call to create the effect. I was thinking of using an effect from my user 'f', this way every effect would be seen on the same target for comparison. My megatree target 'AA' is a good sized effect.

If we followed this logic, the animated gifs would only be created once, only new ones would be created. The animated gifs would not be affected by future code releases.

oh well, one more thing on our to do list.

thanks

Ok. I'm sorry, but I'm missing something. Windows 7 64. IE9 quad 3.7, 16 gigs ram. I'm getting nothing but a black line in the gallery too. What am I missing,  :-[

Buy the way, I've just started useing Nutcracker and it is working great in LSP.

Yep, not sure why the code of the Gallery has a problem with IE9.

I tested firefox, chrome. opera, safari and IE.

All work, except for IE. Kurt wrote this new gallery code and will look into why it doesnt work, but probably not until after this season. Since 4 other browsers work, we will work on other bugs first.

i user either safari or chrome , both are faster at displaying lots of gifs.

thanks
